Dinnertime is very important to me that our family sits together and eat. It feels like one of our only times for us to bond daily. Daddy works all day, and mommy needs to do chores and play with Peanut. Usually, while he’s here, I feed him some Gerber’s Cereal Puffs so he gets distracted or show us how many he could shove in his mouth.
So recently, Peanut has started eating some table food, mostly stuff we eat and we share it with him. He loves it. He gets excited when we set him on his high chair, and he’ll get to be at the table with us, enjoying our conversations.
And I definitely do not want him to pick up the pieces off the table along with cloth fibers and put it in his mouth.
The sticker worried me at first, because Peanut’s high chair table is concave shaped, I was not sure how it’ll go on properly. I just basically stuck it down the sides, and folded the edges and ran my fingers along it. Perfect! They also work fine on regular table clothes surface. I stuck one down for the Husband because we were having Spaghetti Bolognese for dinner and he drips and splatters. *sigh*
So definitely good timing that we have these placemats.
Cleanup was so easy, just peel em off, fold them up and toss. The quality of the plastic is pretty decent. You won’t tear them too easily, so that’s good. You don’t want to have drips as you pick it up to toss.
Peanut likes touching things now, and he will put his fingers back in his mouth. So with the placemat, at least I know the placemat is clean and BPA Free.
Okay, let's break it down now.
- Yes & Yes
- If you're like me, and might sometimes forget to wipe the highchair and the icky grime harden and take forever to scrape those off, yes, just yes. This is so worth it!
Again, I like how convenient these made my life. No more messy tables!!
