When the Husband and I just started dating, we went out to eat a lot. Indian food was one of our go-to's.
I grew up in Malaysia which has this fusion of spices and flavors that is pretty unique. The Husband is an American whom, well, likes American food (not all western food, seeing how European food doesn't count).
However, one of the few that we could both agree on, is Indian food. He has been bugging me to try making Tandoori Chicken so I tried. I do not have a tandoor (traditional Indian clay oven), so I used a regular convection oven.
If you have a charcoal grill, it may make it taste better.
