Last week I posted a recipe for Tandoori Chicken, and in the serving suggestions, I mentioned to serve with Spinach Paneer.
Quick introduction for those who don't eat too much Indian food. Spinach Paneer (Palak Paneer) is a vegetarian dish for those who are on a vegetarian diet, as a lot of Indians are. 1 Paneer is unaged, acid-set, non-melting farmer cheese or curd cheese made by curdling heated milk with lemon juice,vinegar, or any other food acids. But in our case, for the sake of ingredients availability, we are changing it to cottage cheese, which in my opinion is similar; or that I cannot tell the difference in texture and taste, personally.
Anyway, just give it a try. The ingredients are not expensive, there is no harm in trying.
As usual, keep experimenting.
