So I did get to watch Deadpool at the AMC.
Pretty good portrayal of Wade. Ryan Reynolds was perfect as Wade Wilson. There was no denying it. Definitely PG18+.
Malaysian parents are now complaining and wanting this movie to be banned due to the language and violence. So I don’t get why parents wanna take their kids to watch this movie and make a fuss about the swearing and all.
I mean seriously. If you don’t want your kids hearing swear words or nude scenes, don't go. Jeez. Lighten up.
On a roll on playing around with Sketchbook Pro 7. Definitely something you’ll need practice to get better at it and get a feel of it.
8 days left on the free trial. Leaning towards paying for it now.
So I haven’t been drawing a lot lately. Main reason is, I still have yet to get my desktop over here in the States, and my laptop refuses to let my Photoshop CS6 run smoothly with my Wacom Intuos.
So I came across many of my Instagram follows tagging Sketchbook Pro. So I thought hey, why not?
Was pretty frustrated at first at how my computer lags with each stroke I took. Turns out, I SHOULD have read the “readme” files. It gave some suggestions on improving perfomance. With some tinkering, it runs pretty smoothly.
The Pro version definitely has better brush definitions than the Free ones. However since it’s my first time, and that I’m a creature of habit, I stick to what I know.
Also, you’ll get to create infinite layers on the Pro. However, you are warned that the layers will flatten when you open it again when your free trial expires. Personally, I’m fine with just 3 layers, although it’s a bit troublesome to manage your layers, I usually can manage it.
For a person who is used to using Photoshop, it does take some getting used to in the shortcuts and the functions. But otherwise, it is pretty straightforward. It takes out all the functions you don’t need when drawing.
You could save your files in a number of formats that will still be compatible with Adobe Photoshop if you are unwilling to let go of some features there.
Overall, I like it pretty well. I will stick to it for the next 15 days. Then maybe, just maybe I’ll buy the membership.
Random doodles of little Peanut and decided to maybe look into some characters design.
Maybe, just maybe.
I'm a Peanut Mommy, and Oilfield Wife and a lover of all forms of art - as my tag says.
